Free to Move
Dance, a beautiful art form and form of self expression. In this series of photographs I capture two dancers movement using a camera set up on a tripod - an experiment with long and double exposures and oversaturated vibrant colours.
The styling further aimed to focus on the colours by contrasting or alternating in tone from the background, creating different shapes dependent on the exposure.
Henry and Harvey were both final year students at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, based in Leeds.
Their willingness to improvise and graceful movements lent the photographs a dynamic quality that truly reflects their energy and enthusiasm.
